Upgrading outdated Water Conditioning equipment

When upgrading outdated a Water Conditioning equipment, we try to salvage everything that is feasible.  We are sometimes able to repurpose old tanks, that may have been used for a different potable water use, into a Reverse Osmosis storage tank.  In the pictures below, this is what we did.

We disabled the sulphur aerator, which really should have been installed outside.  We added a high pressure pump in the well, a high pressure filter vessel, and 3200 gallon per day (gpd) low energy RO membranes.

We recommended to the homeowner that they install a ventilation system above the installed equipment due to the fact that the garage is not climate controlled and therefore water equipment will sweat and cause some mildew. It is never a good idea to install water equipment in a garage, but in this case, it was pre-existing and we wanted to comply with the owners wishes.
