Well Magic

In the business of water well drilling, paperwork management is needed to ensure adequate compliance with government regulations and good customer relations. I grew up in the water well business and remember when it was paper and pencil. I am glad it is now computerized. Computers generally make keeping track of volumes of info easy. As computers became the norm in almost every industry, the water well drilling industry resisted. Although one man had a vision to create something fantastic. He incorporated well reports, customer data, well log info, invoicing and mapping into one piece of software called “Well Magic”. His company Geographic Insights sponsors the Ground Water Industry and promotes quality water systems through proper record keeping.

A lot of folks over the years have asked me how I can keep up with all the wells I drill (nobody can do that in their head), remember where they are and how deep or what pump we installed. The truth is, we used to have paper records and a secretary. Now we have “Well Magic”.

Below is info from Rick Oberle, creator of Well Magic. I am privileged to know Rick and consider him to be a great friend.

– Many other functions

Specific and detailed routines have been developed for environmental, geotech, and geothermal companies such as detailed project management tools, prevailing wage management, cloning well completion reports, and equipment scheduling.

WellMagic is designed as a companon program to any general ledger accounting system such as QuickBooks. All sales information is tied to the site/job v. the customer (which usually changes frequently) making the system infinitely and efficiently searchable. Aggregate sales data is entered as journal entries in a matter of seconds. WellMagic then manages statements, finance charges, etc.

Data can be readily transferred from other programs to expedite start up and maintain continuity.

See www.geoinsights.biz for more information about WellMagic or call me today. I would be happy to do a web meeting where you would see my computer on your computer and I would show you exactly how WellMagic works.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best,
Rick
